Restroom Reno: Obstacle #1

This restroom renovation just got started and already there's an issue!  They tore into the wall to relocate plumbing today and while onsite, we discover that the new light fixture can't be installed centered on the wall.  There's a stud directly centered on that wall.  Mount the light fixture off to one side?  Never!   

And yes, the wallcoverings will be replaced.
